CDP (Compact Diagnostic Partner)

CDP is a user-friendly wireless multi-brand diagnostic tool. Together with PC or Pocket PC it makes a powerful tool for the independent workshop. The software includes a comprehensive database with full OBD capacities.

CDP covers a major part of European brands, including Saab and Volvo and some Asian brands.

    When using a Pocket PC you have a possibility to run a scan function for Ford and VAG. This allows you to test all available systems in  the vehicle automatically.

    At this stage VP Tuning will be offering three  versions, CDP Scan, CDP Pro and CDP Pro+.

     CDP Scan is a "light" version which allows you to diagnose vehicles with a 16-pole diagnostic socket.

    With this easy to use diagnostic tool you can perform OBD (manufacture specific diagnose), read and erase codes,    reset service lights and via  eOBD/OBDII read live data.

CDP Pro

This is the professional version for full OBD.

Features are:

Wireless

CDP is standard equipped with Bluetooth which allows you to use the tool up to 10 meters from the vehicle. If a PC is used, you cab even connect the CDP via the built-in USB port.

 

Communication standards

CDP covers the most common communication standards such as CAN, SAE J1850, KWP 200 etc. and is fully compatible to EOBD/OBDII standards.

     Subscription
    The subscription includes 3 main updates per year, but Autocom is looking at changing this to smaller updates more    frequently so you will always be up to date with the latest changes.

     Deals on subscription
    As mentioned above the first years' subscription is included in the purchase price. After the first year you will have the    option to continue your subscription for a period of one or three year intervals for the pro versions.
